Greek school breaks ground on community center

State Sen. Marty Golden and the Greek School of Plato held a groundbreaking ceremony Sunday for a new educational and cultural community center.
The facility will be located on 92nd Street in Bay Ridge and will provide the school with a permanent presence in Brooklyn.
The presence will be made by providing a Greek foundation curriculum of language, literature, history, theater, folk dance, music and religion.
