The NYPD has collected 800 cases of bottled water for victims of Hurricane Harvey.
Police officers from Patrol Borough Brooklyn North Community Affairs in Bushwick collected water where it will be transported to Long Island and then Texas.
Officers say 10 other precincts also helped to collect the water.
Their initial goal was to collect 200 cases, but they ended up receiving over 800.
The water will be driven to Massapequa where it is headed to a tractor-trailer that will deliver it to Texas.
