Members of Brooklyn's West Indian community are helping those in the Caribbean affected by Hurricane Irma.
The West Indian American Day Carnival Association is sending out food, canned goods, nonperishable items and clothing, in addition to fundraising.
There will also be a star-studded concert Sunday night in Queens, featuring some of the biggest names in Caribbean soca music.
Admission to the concert costs $20, and 100 percent of the proceeds will go toward relief efforts in Antigua.
