Activists and community members stood together Tuesday evening to remember the victims of Sunday’s mass shooting in Las Vegas.
At an interfaith vigil, attendees lit candles to honor those who were killed and demanded stronger regulations on gun control.
Many at the vigil said the country needs to step up and make it more difficult for mass shootings to happen.
"I really don't think there's a need for guns. Do what you can do today about gun violence so we don't have to worry about it tomorrow," Mike Tucker, founder of Lay the Gun Down Foundation says.
Local leaders and activists say stricter gun regulations could have prevented the deaths of nearly 60 victims and injuries to more than 500.
