An entrepreneur who started working out of his Brooklyn home has built a Latin media company from the ground up.
Andrew Herrera says his company Remezcla started as a grassroots project among writers and creatives.
They all shared a common interest in Latin music, culture and events that no other media outlet was covering.
Once working out of his home, Herrera says what started in living rooms and coffee shops among friends has grown to be much more.
Remezcla's Bushwick headquarters reaches millions of readers a month and also has offices in Los Angeles and Mexico City.
Herrera says his company has built a brand that goes beyond their own publication.
