A new Key Food grocery store held its grand opening in the Bronx Friday.

The new store, located at 760 Melrose Ave., marked the occasion with a DJ and a clown who handed out balloons.

Management at the store says they are happy to be in the Melrose neighborhood and are looking forward to doing business.

The manager says he understands the diversity of the neighborhood and wants to accommodate everyone's grocery needs.

If shoppers are looking for particular items from back home in the Caribbean, he says he will get them in.
