BROOKLYN -

The Mount Zion Church of God and Kingsbrook Jewish Medical Center came together Sunday for their eighth annual Unity Gospel Fest.

This year's event also served as a donation drive for victims in the U.S. Virgin Islands and the island of Dominica after the destruction left behind by multiple hurricanes in the Caribbean.

Pastor Gilford Monrose, of Mount Zion Church of God,  says he's planning a trip to deliver the supplies himself.

Monrose hopes to make the delivery in two weeks.
