A restaurant in Williamsburg is serving up comfort food with a delicious twist.
The Bedford opened in 2010, serving locally sourced ingredients.
Numerous hybrid offerings are available, including three-cheese macaroni burger buns.
Sprinkled with mustard powder, paprika and sumac spice for an extra kick, the mac-and-cheese mixture is frozen and then covered with panko bread crumbs before sizzling in the deep fryer.
The 8-ounce burger patty is made of grassfed angus beef and, like all the meat in The Bedford, butchered in-house.
