Teen girl dies, one other injured in Brooklyn shooting

A 17-year-old girl died and one man was injured after both were shot in Brooklyn Tuesday, police say.

The incident happened inside 2950 W. 35th St. around 4:21 a.m.

Police say they received a 911 call for people shot inside apartment 405.

They discovered a 17-year-old woman shot in the chest and a 20-year-old man shot in the arm.

Both were transported to the hospital where the teenage girl later died.

The man is expected to be OK.

Police have not released the identity of the teen pending family notification.

No arrests have been made.
