Many residents in Brighton Beach headed to the polls Tuesday to cast their votes on Election Day.
The poll workers say it’s been a steady stream of voters coming in and out all day long.
One of the biggest issues has been voters being sent to the wrong polling locations. This year, workers tell News 12 they have new tablets that make it easier to keep things running smoothly. The tablets allow workers to quickly look up an address to make sure voters are at the right polling site.
Residents are advised to bring a form of photo identification when going to vote.  This can include a driver’s license or passport.
The polls will remain open until 9 p.m.
