Tenants of the Eleanor Roosevelt Houses say conditions there are so terrible they can't sleep at night.
They say they have leaking pipes and walls, crumbling ceilings and bug infestations.
Jeffrey Valle, 18, lives with his mom and 11 siblings in a six-bedroom apartment there. He says he's constantly trying to clean up leaks and mold. He blames the mold for causing headaches.
He says he's contacted building management every month for the last two years to no avail. They give him a ticket number, he says, but no follow-up action.
NYCHA says it has sent plumbers to Valle's apartment, but they have not been able to get access.
