Police took three teenagers into custody for allegedly robbing another teen on East Seventh Street Tuesday afternoon.
News 12's Emily Lorsch was on Coney Island Avenue when she saw police swarm the area. When officers said the trio had robbed and beaten a 13-year-old boy, she turned on her camera.
Officers from the 66th and 70th precincts set up a perimeter, and with help from the community, police say they eventually found the teens behind the Atlas Steakhouse, where they were taken into custody.
Police say two of the suspects are 15 years old. The third is 14. They are accused of stealing a cellphone and Beats headphones from the victim. Due to their youth, News 12 video shows them only with blurred faces.
The victim was taken to Maimonides Medical Center.
