PARK SLOPE -

Camperdown Elm offers up a diverse menu for the Parkslope neighborhood.

The Camperdown Elm promises a different dining experience with menu items like squid ink crackers and mackerel pate.

"The squid crackers are amazing. They are made of squid ink so they are jet black and there is a mackerel pate on it," co-owner Nao Minami, says.

In the mood for a unique light dessert? How about a fresh buttermilk pancetta with grapefruit granita and coconut foam. Or select seafood and savor Nantucket sea scallops prepared in the kitchen with care.

"The Nantucket sea scallops are super fresh just with a little bit of finger lime juice, lemon juice, a ton of olive oil and Chinese radishes we get from the market," chef Bradley Willits says.

Each dish is a creative combo.

"How about a 45-day dry aged ribeye? We basically take it apart so you get different cuts of it with grilled collard greens that we get from Union Square, with asian pears we get from Union Square," Willitis says.

Whatever your mood, Brooklyn residents are loving the diversity of the menu.

"Locals are like, ‘thank you for coming to our neighborhood to do something different,’" Willitis says.
