BRIGHTON BEACH -

Police are searching for a suspect they say set a Brighton Beach supermarket on fire.

The suspect was caught on surveillance video as he threw a Molotov cocktail into the Tashkent Supermarket on Brighton Beach Avenue early Wednesday, sending it up in flames.

Store employee Yoqub Nematov was able to put out the fire by throwing the crate into the street. Thanks to his quick thinking, there were no injuries.

Police say there was another man waiting on a motorcycle outside the supermarketwho served as the suspect's getaway driver.

The first suspect was last seen wearing a black hoodie, black jeans and a black mask. The second suspect was last seen wearing a black and white motorcycle helmet, black hoodie, red shirt, black jeans and black shoes.
