Officials: Fire rips through East Flatbush home

An East Flatbush family is displaced after a two-alarm fire ripped through their home Sunday.

News 12 Brooklyn is told the fire broke out just after 11 a.m. on the second floor of the home on 128 E. 42nd St. Officials say the blaze took more than 100 hundred firefighters to put it out.

Officials say the residents of the home escaped unharmed.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
