Hundreds of visitors are flocking to the Dyker Heights Christmas lights display in Brooklyn. 

The displays of blazing lights, giant toy soldiers, and even a  carousel, attract hundreds of thousands of viewers each year.

Despite recent complaints from residents due to traffic, noise and garbage created when tour buses and visitors pack the streets, locals say they understand and try to be courteous.

"I thank everyone that lives here for letting us come in and enjoy the lights with them," a visitor says. "Everything is over the top with Brooklyn now with everyone flooding here."

The lights display will be up until the end of the year.
