Education department pushes for students to apply to summer arts program

BROOKLYN -

The New York State Education Department is pushing for middle and high school students to apply for the 2018 Summer School of the Arts.

Students in grades eight to 12 can take classes in theater, ballet, choral studies, media arts and more.

Programs are held at Skidmore College in Saratoga Springs, SUNY Fredonia, Alfred State and SUNY Delhi.
