Brooklyn roads were fairly clear Saturday night into Sunday after a day of snowfall, thanks to the efforts of the Department of Sanitation.
News 12’s Paula Vassan reported from Canarsie that several inches of snow had accumulated, but sand spreaders and snow plows were out clearing the roads.
Vassan met with several Brooklyn who residents ventured out despite the afternoon’s slushy conditions.
One resident said she spent the day running errands and enjoying the snow.
Meanwhile, authorities are urging drivers to be mindful of slippery roads.
