BROOKLYN -

A student was taken into police custody Thursday after allegedly bringing weapons into I.S. 303.

Police say a 13-year-old boy brought in a BB gun and knife. The school was put on a lockdown that has since been lifted.

Sources tell News 12 that one student felt what he thought was a gun on another student while giving him a high five and told the assistant principal. School officials say the NYPD was called right away.

On Wednesday, Fort Hamilton High School was locked down after reports of an armed person in the school. Those reports wound up being unfounded.
