NYPD officers bring gifts to children at local hospitals

Brooklyn NYPD officers helped deliver toys to children at four local hospitals Thursday.

Nearly 150 children received action figures, board games and educational gifts.

This is the third year officers have joined up with local hospitals to deliver gifts.

"Christmas is all about giving, this is what we are doing and I want to be a part of that,” says NYPD officer Michael Hertrich. “It's a good feeling, you are putting smiles on kid’s faces and it's great.”
