Target teamed up with the NYPD in East New York Saturday to make the holidays bright for 32 children.
Officers from the 75th Precinct treated the children to a shopping spree as part of the Heroes to Helpers program.
The precinct contacted local schools to see which students needed the boost the most.
Each child received a $100 gift card to choose anything they wanted.
Nicodemus Brown, of East New York, used his money on a Power Rangers power sword, Transformers and Twister.
Officer Rodney Greenidge says the event strengthens the relationship with the community.
