A Brooklyn nonprofit is bringing holiday cheer to sick children, donating thousands of toys to those who are spending the holiday season in the hospital.
Toys for Hospitalized Children is a nonprofit that seeks to make sure no hospitalized child spends the holidays empty-handed.
JJ Hecht, an employee of the nonprofit, tells News 12 that the organization donates nearly 15,000 toys to children in the tristate area during the holiday season.
"It makes me feel better because I know that people care about me in the world,” said one of the recipients, Abram Sheffield Jr.
