A two-alarm fire displaced dozens of people in Cypress Hills Thursday, officials say.
The fire started around 1 a.m. on the second floor inside 175 Ashford St., a city-subsidized house for homeless people. The fire then spread to other homes.
Jerome Sapp, a resident of 175 Ashford St., says 17 people lived in the home.
Fire officials say two people suffered minor injuries.
Fire officials are investigating the cause.
