Police say three men beat up a bus driver on the B17 bus Thursday after refusing to pay their fare.
Authorities say the three passengers got onto the bus at the corner of Flatlands and Resen avenues around 12:30 a.m.
After arguing about the fare, police say the men beat up the 58-year-old driver, bruising his eye and left shoulder.
The suspects then allegedly busted through the front glass door and fled the scene.
Police have not yet made any arrests. They face up to seven years in prison for assaulting an MTA employee.
