BOERUM HILL -

Police released a video of a robbery in Boerum Hill captured on surveillance cameras.

Police say on Dec. 20, a 64-year-old man was walking near Dean Street and Fourth Avenue when he was approached by another man who demanded money.

The victim was hit on the head with a hammer after he had no money to give to the attacker.

A woman presumably working with the attacker then approached the victim and stole his cellphone before heading down Bergen Street.

The victim was transported to Methodist Hospital in serious but stable condition. He suffered a broken jaw and had pain and swelling in his face.

Police are still investigating, but have yet to make any arrests.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
