Residents urged to be careful outside in frigid temps

The recent bitter blast of frigid weather is continuing into the weekend.

Residents are urged to take caution while outside to prevent frostbite, being reminded to make sure to cover as much skin as possible.

"If you're going to go outside...a lot of layers. It's very cold and if it starts snowing, it's going to be very slippery out," says Angel Castellano.

News 12 meteorologists say a minor amount of snow is expected in Brooklyn Saturday in addition to the chilling temperatures.
