BEDFORD-STUYVESANT -

A pop-up bus shelter is collecting heavy winter coats for the needy at a bus stop in Bed-Stuy.

Those in need of warm jackets are free to take what they need from the rack.

"This is exactly what Brooklyn is all about,” said organizer Daveen Trentman. “Spreading love. It's the Brooklyn way.”

News 12 Brooklyn is told the drive is being held until Sunday at 835 Gates Avenue.
