A man in Marine Park is pursuing his love of music and hopes to turn it into a full-time career.
Pasquale Gee picked up a dusty, old guitar in his family's closet about five years ago and couldn't put it down.
With no musical training, he turned to YouTube, learning how to master the guitar and eventually the keyboard.
The 24-year-old is a substitute teacher for a junior high school by day. In his free time, he's playing at venues like the Coney Island Music Festival this past August.
Gee says he practices about five hours a day, writing all of his music on his iPhone.
He says the key to learning music is to enjoy the process, not perfection.
