Several Essex County mayors unite for anti-hate rally

Several Essex County mayors came together Thursday in Newark to rally against hate.
The mayors and their supporters protested the alleged expletive President Donald Trump used to describe Haiti, Ecuador and some African countries. They went after not only the president, but also anyone who did not publicly denounce what he said.
"You have to denounce racism wherever it stands. Whether you're a democrat or republican, you cannot condone the behavior from No. 45,” Mayor of Irvington Tony Vauss said.
Different student activist groups from Rutgers-Newark also took part in the rally.
