Churches in Paris to introduce cashless donation system

Churches in Paris are introducing a system that will allow worshippers to make cashless donations during Mass.
The diocese will now be allowing worshippers to make card payments by sending out collection baskets during Mass with a screen on it, which will allow churchgoers to choose an amount to donate.
The new method will be used in addition to the existing cash donations usually made in church.
"There are a lot of people that prefer cash, but I also do think that the cashless donations is more like a new generation kind of thing," says Brooklyn churchgoer Edwin Jean. "For example myself, who doesn't like carrying cash at all it would benefit me."
No such plans have been introduced in New York City.
