Best of the Bronx: Singer, songwriter calls Bronx home

New York City singer and songwriter Annalise Azadian has enjoyed recording her albums in the Bronx so much she decided to move to the borough.
The R&B and soul singer was raised in the city suburbs of New York and has always drawn inspiration from her own personal experiences.
Azadian began recording her albums at the Compound Studio in Mott Haven a few years ago and eventually moved to the Bronx where she now lives.
Her music videos have been featured on YouTube under Vevo licensing—something she says has been a dream come true.
A part of her music videos for the song 'Passenger Mirror' was also shot outside a Bronx auto body shop in East Tremont.
Azadian will release a seven-song EP recorded in the Bronx on Feb. 7.
