An event in Prospect-Lefferts Gardens Saturday aimed to help empower entrepreneurs.
The Big Black Book NYC is a social media directory that helps people find different products and services created by African-American-owned businesses.
Founder Beth Brown creates events to gather entrepreneurs so they can network and inspire each other. The event also helps those attending to learn more about the directory, as business owners had the opportunity to fill out a business profile and take a headshot with photographers.
Saturday's event was the third Big Black Book NYC event since its creation in August of 2017.
