23-year-old arrested for fatal shooting at Bed-Stuy bodega

An arrest has been made in the fatal shooting of a man outside a Bed-Stuy bodega.

Last Monday, 55-year-old Earnest Brownlee was gunned down in broad daylight while picking up his lunch from the store at 266 Throop Ave.

Police arrested 23-year-old Christopher Buggs Saturday. He's been charged with second-degree murder and criminal possession of a weapon.

A motive for the shooting is still unclear.
