Tenants of one Brooklyn building are calling for repairs in Williamsburg.
Residents of the apartment at 230 Manhattan Ave. rallied together alongside Saint Nicks Alliance Community Preservation and Borough President Eric Adams.
The tenants have been on rent strike since May saying their landlord has failed to make repairs or issue new leases. According to the New York City Housing Preservation and Development website, the building has 141 open violations.
Some longtime residents say the landlord is harassing them and trying to force them out.
They are now demanding that heat be restored and repairs be made immediately
News 12 reached out to the buildings listed management company, but has not yet heard back.
