Sanitation workers found a man's body behind a dumpster in the parking lot of a Rite Aid in Bedford-Stuyvesant Monday morning.

The body was found on Halsey Street shortly after 10:30 a.m.

The man is believed to be between 30 and 40 years old. When police responded to a sanitation worker's call of an unconscious person, the man was found unresponsive.

He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The unidentified man's official cause of death is expected to be determined by a medical examiner.
