BUSHWICK -

Police say a trio of bandits are suspected in nine robberies in the borough.

The latest incident occurred Sunday at the Broadway Mini Market. Moe Salah says three men came into the store while he was behind the counter.

"The first guy, he pulls a gun, the second, he come around and take all the money," says Salah. “He pulled the gun up to my face, and he [said], ‘Don't move. Take out all the money.’"

Investigators say the men took off with $500. In the last two weeks, police say they robbed nine businesses, stealing hundreds of dollars from all but one location. Four of the robberies took place in less than four hours.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
