A couple was killed in a home invasion robbery Wednesday evening in Prospect-Lefferts Gardens, police say.

A neighbor says he saw a woman without shoes and holding a baby running out of the Winthrop Street house where the incident occurred, desperately searching for a phone. He says he believes it is the daughter and granddaughter of the couple who was fatally stabbed.

A 59-year-old woman, identified as Hazel Brown, was found inside the house, and 65-year-old Stephenson Bonaparte was found lying facedown outside.

The neighbor says the woman who ran out of the house said the suspects were two men who were wearing face masks.

No arrests have been made.
