Asbury Park gang leader faces 20 years in prison

The leader of an Asbury Park gang is facing nearly 20 years in state prison, according to the Monmouth County prosecutor's office.
Prosecutors say Al-tyreek Leonard pleaded guilty in November to racketeering, conspiracy and guns and weapons charges.
The 24-year-old was arrested after a 2014 investigation called Operation Dead End.
That led to more than 50 arrests of several members from the "Bloods" and "Crips" gangs.
Leonard is eligible for parole once he serves 85 percent of his 17-year sentence.
