Residents trudge through Sunday's wet weather

BROOKLYN -

Brooklyn residents were breaking out their umbrellas and pulling up their hoods during Sunday's wet weather.

Some car crashes were reported across the borough amid slick streets and large puddles.

Highway signs were reminding drivers to turn on headlights while windshield wipers were in use.

Drivers were being urged to take to the roads slowly and allow for extra travel time.
