Police are searching for the suspect in connection with a shooting on Clarendon Road Friday evening.

They say the suspect is approximately 30 years old, 5 feet 9 inches tall and about 220 pounds. Police say he shot a 32-year-old man in the torso outside Fifth Unisex Salon on Clarendon Road. They say the victim works at the barber shop.

Officials say the suspect had come in the store earlier in the day and was bothering customers, and the worker told him to leave.  Police say that a short time later, the suspect came back and was standing outside smoking, and the two got into an argument again. This time, the suspect allegedly pulled out a gun and shot the victim.

The victim was rushed to Kings County Hospital and has since been treated and released.

Police are asking anyone with information about the incident to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
