Brooklyn Style: Lyfestyle clothing

Posted: Updated:
BUSHWICK -

A unique and trendy clothing line is stitching its threads in Bushwick

Born and bred in Brooklyn, the team behind Lyfestyle clothing launched their business six years ago.

Owner Clinton Ballard says he was interested in making clothing, so he purchased a printing machine and began making shirts inside his apartment.

"We bought like a screen printing machine, and we were printing T-shirts, we were learning how to screen print," Ballard says.

Now, he and his four business partners hand craft clothes anywhere from 50 to 70 online orders per day at their Bushwick warehouse.

Lyfestyle's business model revolves around taking plain clothing and sewing patches on them, but they also allow their consumers to pick the product they wish to customize.

Their looks are well-worn in Hollywood by musicians like Meek Mill, P Diddy, Faith Evans, Lil Uzee, Famous Dex, Charlamaine, Angela Yee, and Cardi B, they say.
