SHEEPSHEAD BAY -

At least one firefighter was injured while responding to a house fire in Brooklyn Tuesday, officials say.

The fire broke out on E. 27th Street just before 8 a.m.

At least one firefighter was treated for minor injuries and is expected to be OK.

Residents tell News 12 they smelled smoke and immediately ran from the home before dialing 911.
