Brooklyn sees rare springlike weather in February

Temperatures broke into the mid-60s Tuesday -- a rarity for February in Brooklyn.
Many residents went outside in the sun. The owner of the Twisted Rootz juice bar in Canarsie says he noticed an uptick in business.
"Normally, you wouldn't see people looking forward to having some kind of smoothie in the middle of the winter," says Rony Saintard. "February is supposed to be the peak of winter."
Over the weekend, it snowed in the borough.
"I love this warm weather, but it is a little weird for February," says Kaitha Henant, of Canarsie. "I'm not complaining though."
Forecasters say Wednesday could see temperatures break into the 70s.
But the record high temperatures will not stick around for long, according to News 12 meteorologists.
Thursday and Friday will see rain and highs in the mid-40s.
Early forecasts show temperatures in the 50s over the weekend.
