Police say a suspicious substance was found at a Brooklyn councilmember’s office Thursday afternoon.
They say the substance was found in a letter-sized envelope around 12:30 p.m. at Councilman Stephen Levin’s office on Atlantic Avenue.
A spokesperson for Councilman Levin says everybody is fine and they are working with the police in the investigation.
It was not immediately clear what the substance was.
