Cricket stars from India are trying to get Americans playing their sport in Coney Island.
CricFest, sponsored by a popular video streaming service in India called Hotstar, was held to help bring the sport into the United States using its stars as spokespeople.
"Cricket in India is like a religion, it's like a big, big thing," says star player Harbhajan Singh. "So every kid living in India, they have a dream to either become a Bollywood star or a cricket player."
The event featured a game simulation, one of a handful of fun and interactive experiences to help get people introduced to the game.
Organizers say they opened the event to the public a few weeks ago, and it was sold out within a matter of days.
