St. Francis Brooklyn, LIU Brooklyn battle in conference tourney

Posted: Updated:
BROOKLYN -

St. Francis Brooklyn and LIU Brooklyn will open up the Northeast Conference tournament Wednesday against each other.

The Terriers and the Blackbirds will meet for the third time in 13 days with their seasons on the line.

Both teams say they will be watching footage of their previous matchups to prepare.

Both games went the same way, with the home team winning by five points.

Despite being on the road, the St. Francis Terriers say they are ready to play.

"I think if you're a basketball player you want to play in these games and this is why we play," says head coach Glenn Braica.

The game will start at 7 p.m. on the LIU Brooklyn campus.
