Tree crashes down on front porches in Flatlands

Posted: Updated:
FLATLANDS -

The nor'easter Friday caused a tree in Flatlands to come crashing down on the front porches of homes along East 34th Street between avenues J and K.

The damage extends across three or four homes. Despite the wreckage, nobody was hurt.

News 12 is told that there were people inside the homes, but luckily they were all toward the back away from where the tree landed.

Some people have lost power due to the tree coming down.
