CROWN HEIGHTS -

Hundreds of residents joined together at the Brooklyn Children’s Museum to celebrate the festival of Holi on Saturday.

Holi originated in India to honor the Hindu god Krishna, and colorful powder has become synonymous with the festival.

The day was filled with music, dancing and a lot of color, while celebrating culture.

“This festival has brought so many people of different diverse backgrounds to come together and just enjoy each other,” says organizer Rupa Parekh.
