BROWNSVILLE -

Bullets ripped into the Step By Step Day Care Center in Brownsville Thursday afternoon, miraculously missing children and staff members inside.

The gunfire from across the street shattered the glass front door, sources tell News 12.

Police have not released much information, but surveillance video obtained by News 12 shows two men arguing outside -- one of whom appears to brandish a pistol. The second man raises his hands and backs off.

It's unclear if either man opened fired, but the video was taken around the same time as the shooting.
