Construction worker fatally crushed by forklift in Bushwick

<p>A construction worker has died&nbsp;after he became pinned by a forklift at a Bushwick construction site, according to the Associated Press.&nbsp;</p>

A 47-year-old construction worker died Saturday after being pinned between a truck and a forklift at a construction site in Bushwick.
The incident occurred around 3 p.m. at 1949 Broadway.
The victim, whose name was not immediately released, was taken to a local hospital where he died.
Jose Rosario, who works at a towing company across the street from the site, remembered the 47-year-old man as friendly, strong and muscular.
"This is one of my neighbors. They [are] my friends,” he said.
It was not immediately clear how the victim became pinned.
